Dam

Dam amplifies reflections in water captured at the Natomas Dam to create a transformative burst of visual energy. Reflecting on California's ten-year drought, the piece celebrates water as the source of life. This 30-second piece was commissioned by Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission, The Golden One Center and The Kings basketball team for the inaugural art screening at The Golden One Center in Sacramento. The screening also comprised twenty experimental videos created by students in the new media art program at CSUS; the student screening juried by the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission Art in Public Places panel.
